About Us & Why We Started The Bramble

We’re Meg & Arnold, parents to two small children (plus one large dog) who call Park Slope home. A licensed therapist and community-building marketer respectively, The Bramble is our shared dream — a purpose-designed environment for crawlers, wobblers, and toddlers; tranquility and resources for their adults; and a gathering space for the village it takes to raise Brooklyn’s littlest residents. The Bramble was inspired by our own experience as Brooklyn parents — a desire for a safe environment and gathering spot outside the home, equally curated for caregiver comfort and child enrichment in the earliest days of parenthood.

Meg has spent a decade working with New York City families, formerly as a clinician at the Child Mind Institute in Manhattan and then within her own Brooklyn-based therapy practice, opened in 2020. A graduate of Bank Street’s Infant and Family Development Master’s program, Meg is deeply attuned to the developmental importance of ages birth to three and is passionate about educating and guiding adults through those foundational moments.

Arnold has over 12 years experience in marketing across a wide-range of companies and products. After finding himself increasingly drawn to community marketing and partnerships with local organizations, Arnold grew passionate about creating a community-oriented space that could make a meaningful difference in the lives of new parents like themselves in the neighborhood.

We’re incredibly excited for the opportunity to build The Bramble in our own neighborhood and hope that, alongside our community, we can provide a space where all children and their grown-ups feel welcome and supported as they grow.
